ESG
We are proud that GWC is one of the 12 listed companies on the Qatar Stock Exchange (QSE) to have reported in line with the QSE’s defined methodology for ESG reporting in 2021 with 97% compliance. As part of our commitment to transparency and sustainability, we have already published our ESG results for 2022.
Our ESG report demonstrates our dedication to continuous improvement, as evidenced by our key achievements in 2022. These include a 90% increase in recycled waste, and a 10% improvement in water utilisation per head, a 0.09% improvement in energy consumption per head, and a 16% improvement in our median female salary compared to our median male salary. As a company, we remain committed to sustainable practises and contributing to Qatar’s National Vision 2030. We believe that our ESG reporting and commitment to improvement will continue to enhance our reputation as a responsible corporate citizen in the region
